We have completed our conversion to OpenText Secure Messaging Gateway and have been monitoring the system this afternoon. Digests, similar to the digests Barracuda sent, should roll out at 7:00 a.m. daily.
We are switching our Spam filter from Barracuda to OpenText Secure Messaging Gateway. The Secure Messaging Gateway works in a similar fashion to Barracuda. Employees will still receive spam digests at 7:00 am listing quarantined messages. Employees will also be able to log into the gateway at any time to check your quarantine and release emails.
I plan on making the switchover late afternoon July 3rd.
I DO expect some minor issues, as we have multiple servers that connect to our mail server to send messages.
If your client is connecting to mail.clawsons.com, it will timeout opening Groupwise. Replace mail.clawsons.com with groupwise.clawsons.com, leave the password field blank and click OK.
PLEASE NOTE: You may notice an initial uptick in spam, this is normal for a newly installed system. We will be collecting data and modifying the filters once we receive an adequate amount of emails in the database. Please just delete any spam messages for now.
If you are getting a blank screen after logging into Groupwise WebAccess, and are using Internet Explorer, try logging into WebAccess by checking “Use the Basic Interface” checkbox. There is an issue with Internet Explorer that may not render the web interface properly. You may also use another internet browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc).
