If you have a BICSI card, and would like a BICSI login to track your CEC’s, renewal dates, etc. call BICSI at 800-242-7405 and speak to a representative to create an account. Before calling, make sure you have your BICSI card. The representative will assign an account and a temporary password. Instructions for will be emailed to the email address you provide to the BICSI representative.
A new form factor is starting to appear in the currrent 568C Standards that will be used after ratification of the Category 7 standards. Stay tuned as I will be posting more information on this in a few days.
All courses have BICSI approval for CEC’s
Once you are signed up, must be completed during the calendar year. Remember it can take up to 6 weeks to receive a certificate as proof of attendance from Systimax.

Installer 2, Copper Exam-One must possess at least one (1) year of current and verifiable ITS industry installation experience
Installer 2, Optical Fiber Exam-one must possess at least two (2) years of current and verifiable ITS industry installation experience
Technician exam-one must possess at least three (3) years of current and verifiable ITS industry installation experience and hold the ITS Installer 2 (see note below) or both ITS Installer 2, Copper and ITS Installer 2, Optical Fiber Credentials.
An individual who meets all of the requirements for Technician but does not hold both Copper and Fiber Installer Credentials may apply for a one time waiver to take the Technician exam by submitting a completed exam application and a current resume listing the experience, education and other certifications, to the Credentialing Manager. If approved, and they do not pass the exam, they will be required to obtain both the Copper and Fiber credentials before they can retake the Technician exam.
